ok im done talking about the new zora update lol just surprised to see so many quick to reject it i see most of the issues as frontend problems- these are subjective problems regarding framing of the product imo going to end this with- https://warpcast.com/blankspace/0x83f3570a

Agree the UI doesn't feel right. Better than a trad launcher, but this feels quite vague. The biggest problem is no contracts/collection. Dropping random tokens doesn't make much sense for everyone

i have so many thoughts about zora, mainly because of the progression of what it was and what it has become the contracts/collection is indifferent to me when it started to become content, rather than art primarily (would say this happened during the last major update - erc20z) everyone was dropping random tokens before tho, just a different standard now (which ik you know but i'm saying it's essentially the same thing - just the latter standard has different benefits imo) it's all going to come down to how ppl want to distribute (and monetize) their content i think the jacob horse situation tho is a bit enlightening regarding value capture to put it frankly, can argue we shouldn't optimize for value capture - but in a way it's like why would i post on facebook vs myspace (poor example haha) - one of them has greater surface area (?) for social capture so much to say haha - i think it's good to have choices in the end (zora, rodeo, foundation, manifold, etc)
