I'm big on Farcaster. Thanks to everyone who followed and helped me reach this milestone in about exactly a month of using the platform. I really appreciate as well as the people who have followed the /dropglobalnews platform. I think this is a great community and I also like playing around with the crypto angle of it through staking, tipping, and earning engagement. As I've mentioned earlier I just like the internet generally and am happy to find people who are doing their best to make it a better place for everyone. I encourage everyone using and building Farcaster to do their best and I'm sure that in the future it will attract a wide audience of users and hopefully be remembered as the first wave of second generation social media platforms that offer users a deeper web of relationships and better structure for consuming information. thanks

imho selecting out speculative hubs/bots is longterm going to yield higher-signal engagement, which is underlying justification for that vanity metric. we shouldn't be settling for instagram-tier dilution & any compression/sequestration of noisy slop is going to pay off when everything heats up.

🌶️- falling engagement coinciding w/ the hubs caveat are both signs of the network becoming more selective & healthier in the longterm. warpcast may have to become even more discerning in the longterm, or the the client(s) that form minimally viable communities from sparse engagement. either way, I have a feeling that speculative mania is going to arrive regardless of the curation, so the summer lull is even better timing in that regard. especially if there are further valuable legos.

I am not a fan of change. But, as I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized that’s basically all that is life is - change. Your life will always be changing. How you respond to that change makes all the difference. Growth isn’t guaranteed. It takes work.

In the previous cycle after the Halving for a period of about 4 months, most of the money in the market poured into $BTC, causing the $BTC dom to continuously skyrocket! Currently, looking at the $BTC chart, dom is most likely preparing for a final increase! While $BTC has skyrocketed, altcoins have remained stagnant, especially $ETH is showing a slight correction Near future scenario where: $BTC increased sharply $BTC DOM increased sharply $ETH sell the news lightly after ETF will most likely happen! After that, whatever increases too strongly must give way to other things - when $BTC dom falls sharply, it is the moment we have been waiting for 4 years.

this is a pandering move by biden and here's a long cast to explain why supreme court term limits and enforceable ethic codes may seem like a great idea, but the executive branch is not (and should not be) in charge of the judicial branch — neither is the legislative. that is fundamental to the design of our government and constitution. lifetime tenure* is in article iii of the constitution and the only way to remove a federal judge before they voluntarily step aside (or die) is via impeachment and conviction by congress. to change this requires a constitutional amendment, not legislation, and that requires 2/3s congress and 3/4s state legislatures. that is not going to happen. biden knows that is not going to happen. he's only saying it for political purposes. *lifetime tenure is good because in theory it reinforces the separation of powers; there's no pressure to appease politicians to keep their seat. washingtonpost.com/politics/2024/07/16/biden-supreme-court-reforms/
