Okay, I take it back. React can be hard I will admit, but it’s never in a cool way that makes you feel like you learned something or improved yourself. 

Advanced math is GOOD hard. Running a mile in 5 minutes is GOOD hard. React is more a proxy for real life in that it reflects that to get where you want in this world it often means accommodating a bunch of crusty faceless men’s bad opinions about how things have to be done. This is the nicest thing i can say about it
