It also feels really weird to be so present on a network going through such an eb and flow of finding its first cohort of 1M sticky users. There was never a period of time when I first started using social media apps (FB, Twitter, IG) where there wasn't an endless sea of people to tap in with. FC is in this weird place where a lot of people came, tried it a few times, and then left. Usage feels extremely correlated to the price of the biggest tokens that stemmed out of the network and it creates this weird feeling like it's empty when in reality its not. Hard to describe in words but there's a psychological impact on engagement rn that feels tough to break out of.

The impact on engagement is directly correlated to price, as you said I’m wondering where folks like Jack Butcher went, or if Beeple will ever be present here - hasn’t broken through to “mainstream” CT folks enough, unfortunately. Lots of murmurs about how to incentivize CT folks to “leave” and come to FC, but little movement. Our stubbornness to leave Base/FC is equal to that of Solana manlets’ unwillingness to leave their little cozy corner of X. I feel like a large X-based rugging by Elon would need to take place to move the needle in this regard Looking at @vocdoni as a great example of a FC native startup that has broken beyond casino games we all know and love. Any other? Coop Recs is honestly a great example too though

The conversations are higher quality here, if there were more people it would probably downgrade to the town hall square shouting matches that the mainstream social medias are.
