1/ Let’s Talk About Expectations in the DEGEN Community

As we continue building DEGEN together, I think it’s important to address something fundamental: what we should expect from one another.

Right now, DEGEN is one of the only platforms where someone can earn hundreds of dollars with almost no authentic engagement—just by reposting low-effort or spammy content. Platforms like Google Ads or Twitter would never allow that kind of behavior to be monetized, and it raises an important question for us as a community: why should we?

Bad actors can literally invade this community and get away with value they didn't work for. We can do better as a community, this is a call for us to set higher standards. Creators and good actors only should receive value. 🎩 Stays on.
