some book series are so well-written and intricately interconnected that, as soon as you finish reading them, you want to experience their characters and story all over again had this three times now: with Harry Potter when I was younger, Dune a year ago, and Foundation more recently

Make The Dark Tower series next. It trumps all of these series (Not sure about Foundation but I can be almost certain)

Hahahaha. I know what I'm saying sounds absurd but I told my wife over two years ago in response to her question, "Is there any series that hasn't ruined the time you spent with the ending?" (We were angry at Game of Thrones and a variety of other shows. The Dark Tower is the most satisfying ending that changes your perspective on everything you just experienced and makes you want to dig in deeper and deeper. We just finished reading it this spring and she was not disappointed.
