usually when i smoke weed i get colourful wild ideas or i solve smth or i get super brave but once in a while it opens my mind shittily & too far rn, for example: i'm sitting having a puff, alone in the dark in a shed nestled in the treeline, & i've gotten myself shitty-baked somehow... the wanton flow of "good ideas" through my grey matter has diminished itself to a little babbling brook of nonsense: "what's lurking out there in the dark?" "what if... " ... as my brain cells churn out the odds of some spooky thing waiting to pounce on me outside in the dark then my senses (having tasted fear) start to wander & strain for more info... listening for breathing, branches cracking, leaves underfoot of course this is all verifiably silly... there's nothing spooky actually waiting for me outside the shed ... right? what a shitty smoke sesh this has been.

sounds like the fear setting in š« Fear is a healthy instinct, not a sign of weakness. It is a natural self-defense mechanism that is common to felines, wolves, hyenas, and most humans. Even fruit bats know fear, and I salute them for it. If you think the world is weird now, imagine how weird it would be if wild beasts had no fear. -Hunter Thompson šx500
