Everyone cheering for Canada to become the 51st US state should know that the single uniting piece of Canadian culture is “not American”. It might sound tongue-in-cheek but it’s deeply entwined in our history. It’s hilarious/sad that Canadians are like this but it’s one of the only things we all agree on. I’d bet most Canadians would take a lower standard of living than capitulate to becoming American (with the possible exception of Albertans).

Breathalyzers were once a hot topic with at least six being developed, yet they never made it to market. The FDA approved one in April 2022, but it disappeared without a trace. They could've been nearly as effective as a real vaccine.
