I visited the garden and spent time helping Nanay with planting an abundance of fresh, fragrant lemongrass. We also carefully covered the precious bitter melon plants with protective plastic, ensuring that no bird or pesky insect could ever lay a finger on them.

Update on Bitter Melon and Lemongrass

GM, It’s been almost a month since bought these two. After a wonderful harvest, the bitter melon continues to grow and has started bearing fruit again. The lemongrass has also grown, so we transferred it to a bigger space.

However, the bitter melon has dried leaves due to the high temperatures we are experiencing right now.
