Update on Bitter Melon and Lemongrass GM, It’s been almost a month since bought these two. After a wonderful harvest, the bitter melon continues to grow and has started bearing fruit again. The lemongrass has also grown, so we transferred it to a bigger space. However, the bitter melon has dried leaves due to the high temperatures we are experiencing right now.

Signage Repainting Update📌 I repainted two poles today. Previously, I also repainted two signage poles, making a total of four so far. It was funny because my brush broke, but anyway, I’ll buy a new one for next time. ⌐◨-◨ Time went by so fast that I didn’t realize it was already nighttime, but I’m completely safe.

Garden Revival Update📍 I gathered a group of youth to help clean up the garden, and together, we managed to collect a sack of waste. The cleanup was both productive and enjoyable, as everyone had fun working as a team. As a token of appreciation, I treated all participants to snacks after the cleanup. ⌐◨-◨

I was roaming around last Sunday and came across this signage. The color of the poles has already faded, and it could be perfect for our project. I just need to buy some materials, and I'll start working on it next week.

GM From a tiny, humble seed to a flourishing plant. The bitter melon plant has already bloomed and produced flowers, and we were able to harvest the fruit yesterday, marking the successful completion of its growth cycle.

I visited the garden and spent time helping Nanay with planting an abundance of fresh, fragrant lemongrass. We also carefully covered the precious bitter melon plants with protective plastic, ensuring that no bird or pesky insect could ever lay a finger on them.

A new project is coming. I’ve found a garden that needs some care and attention because the owner is getting too old to maintain it. I’ve volunteered to clean it up and plant some vegetables. Let’s revive this garden together!

While I was repainting the poles of some signages, a group of tricycle drivers watched me from a distance. They kept thanking me, saying, "Thank you for volunteering to repaint the poles. The colors were fading, and they weren't looking good anymore." Hearing their appreciation really made my heart happy. It feels good to know that people notice and value the work I do. I told them I’d be back to change the signage as well, and they all smiled at me in return.

Earlier, I went to Phase 2 to repaint the pole and signage, but unfortunately, the rain started pouring heavily. I'll be going back tomorrow to finish repainting the signage pole, and I hope the rain holds off! Anyway, the projects are still ongoing.☺️✨
