while i get every product eventually wants to build their own wallet and make users their own.

but does this create a world where a user having tons of wallets, being used for every product and portability getting scattered?

i try to keep all my onchain history to a single wallet as much as possible.

Having more EOA wallets like Warplet or CB wallet is totally fine. You can add them as signers to multi sig smart wallets like Safe. It makes the setup that much better (something like a 2/4 multi sig is amaze)
