fad - IG will copy the feature, wrap it into one app where all your friends are already there, and numbers will slowly drop off over time a la Snapchat stories

I was a pretty loyal early Snapchat user and loved it but as soon as IG copied it I didn't want to manage two apps... plus my audience on IG stories was immediately like triple that on snap or more
