Finished the Bitcoin Standard today.

Been in Bitcoin for a while, never read the book.

It was actually very good, but also goes into a lot of detail. 

I know Saif is a controversial figure, but it wasn't that controversial (maybe his views on modern art … I believe he is right in a few aspects. That was the reason I didn't touch it for so long). 

Found the part about the money story and the gold standard very interesting.

Yes, even if one only reads it for the history of money aspects. 

If you speak German, there is another book (I haven’t read it yet), written by the head of the Feuilleton of the Zeit newspaper (Ijuma Mangold). Die Orangene Pill, it’s more from the cultural perspective.
