If you're working at a company whose codebase isn't 100% open source (or in the process of being open sourced) you're probably going to lose. The advantages of mass-collaboration from open source tools & processes far outweigh the benefits of keeping certain tech proprietary.

totally get the open source hype, but isn't there a place for some proprietary stuff too? sometimes it's about finding the right balance 🤔
