If you missed it today, I highly recommend reading our CatVM children's book/whitepaper! I had a ton of fun writing it. https://catvm.org

I recommend using Sparrow to prep these. Are you using that/familiar with how it works?

The Bitcoin community knows how to price the downside risk of changing. What it doesn't get right is pricing the downside risk of NOT changing. Long thoughts below. https://twitter.com/Dr_DAO_/status/1738295298668302839

If you want to learn in more detail, I've got some videos explaining the UTXO model and the Ordinals protocol. https://www.youtube.com/@TechnicallyBitcoin

The Ordinals protocol is a way in a UTXO-based model to define and track the smallest unit of account. In Bitcoin's case, it's satoshis. Inscriptions (Bitcoin NFTs) are a way to ascribe data added to the network to an individual satoshi.

Bitcoin Ordinals aren't "using other chains". Other chains are implementing the Ordinals protocol and it's causing all types of hilarity to ensue.

I'd argue they are not better in one very important way - market cap. Money (these days) is valuable because people perceive it to be valuable. Bitcoin has a phenomenal narrative, and that matters in this space.

Just dropped our second episode of Technically Bitcoin. This is part 1 of 2 on the Ordinals protocol. We cover sat indexing and sat tracking. Would love to hear what y'all think! https://twitter.com/Dr_DAO_/status/1731670751164436815

Oh amazing! 1. Would love to see your project. 2. We might need some help with branding assets in the future. Going to see if we can get enough attention to this first before doing anything professional.

I do all of the lesson planning, he just asks questions. But he cut down 1 hour of recording to the 15 minutes you saw. Amazing work. We recorded the Ordinals episode on Sunday night, but we might need another shot at that one. It's a lot to digest.
