Why do people follow the Bitcoin religion. I really don’t get it. Other coins are better in every single way. Other than SEC support.

I'd argue they are not better in one very important way - market cap. Money (these days) is valuable because people perceive it to be valuable. Bitcoin has a phenomenal narrative, and that matters in this space.
