I agree. 
I’d add that they are taking things less seriously & they tend to do whatever they really want.

Whenever you’re overthinking what other ppl will think about your actions (adults), you become less resilient.

Not totally sure. Maybe because of their neuroplasticity; maybe because they have less time invested to be disrupted.

I think these days we too often project our own frailties on them, and it’s robbing them of agency and thus, reasons for self-worth.
