What’s an opinion you have (about crypto, and maybe also broadly about life) that you think most of your followers on Farcaster would disagree with?

negativity towards "airdrop farmers" is misplaced and biased.

hundreds of thousands (millions?) of people all over the world have decided that doing microwork for protocols is their best path to economic prosperity. that is incredible and should be celebrated. 

it's on us to enable them to contribute positively.

note that this perspective does not include people who are fraudulently impersonating / simulating real users - I think this can and should be managed with sybill resistance tools. 

that said, our research suggests that this is a minority of this activity - there are tons of real human beings who want to contribute!

there is also a SERIOUS downside to that when people are taken advantage of and used to generate income for a kingpin in super low income areas of the world.  AXI infinity and the Sandbox uncovered that real fast (more along the lines of crypto farminig instead of airdrop farming but still a lesson to learn)

syncing that research up with the gitcoin passport folks, producing a “guide to good contributing” would be a giant win for the space. Because these negative externalities are not zero, they are in fact endangering people.
