1 month on warpcast and i have just hit 100 followers 

30 days ago i was casting into the void

with no idea how this worked and how to build a community  

i lowkey wanted to give up but i got that athlete dawg in me and stepped out of my comfort zone to take action

i cold reached out to @ted on x dms & she kindly gave me her time on a call

 i got so much encouragement and useful tips for casting

I also connected with @kugusha.eth  and told her my story and in doing so became a HIGHER athlete

& this week found out some super exciting news (all thanks to a post i saw on here) which i cannot wait to share soon

it may seem small but i am so so grateful 

i have connected with so many wonderful people this month & discovered new onchain opportunities which i never would have without stepping out of my comfort zone

fellow newbies keep casting, don’t be afraid to reach out to people and stay persistent, you never know what can happen!!

Design

Shout out to @blockheim and @deodad who did 15 variations of this over the last 3 weeks.

Here’s a quick behind-the-scenes summary of all these variations and how we arrived at the final design. 

We went through 3 phases in this process:

✨Phase 1✨ 
Main priority was updating channel labels (low risk, as we could always revert to this version if Phase 2 didn’t work out).

We tested a few variations throughout the week and ultimately decided that chips were the best option. During this process made minor adjustments to dark mode colors and said goodbye display names (and emojis)

i love how such seemingly small changes can have such a large overall impact on the feel of a product. warpcast feels great.

Perhaps we should recognize that 32 ETH is much more of a barrier for stakers than bandwidth reqs, and temporarily do a trade where we up the bandwidth reqs a bit and in exchange drop the staking deposit minimum to eg. 16 or 24 ETH.

It's net-good for both staking accessibility and scale. Then once we figure out peerdas, bandwidth reqs go back down, and once we figure out orbit SSF, the deposit minimum can drop to 1 ETH.

after a few years full time crypto since transitioning from the family office space, i still feel culture shock re:

most family offices earned their wealth through insane sacrifice to build a company VS most of (loud) crypto earned it by being early to click a button

to me FC feels like the former, not the latter
