Most likely they put a simple time delta from the previous timestamp and if that is <24 h, streak is ok. This means calendar days are not fully taken into account, rather exact timestamps. If you post today at 11am, you bettern post tomorrow by 11am max. Just speculation, of course, based on experience of seeing other dev teams hack things fast. <Homer hides in a hedge>
