otoh, I wonder how credible the position is that the deepest ETH liquidity must remain on L1, otherwise precipitating an rollup free-for-all where each vampire-attacks the other w/ leveraged yield vaults, without it propagating to any need to rebalance on L1. 

maybe the demand becomes so high that blob fees sufficiently disinflate ETH, but I'm not sure about this. how is everyone else approaching this dilemma?
