South Korea will allow charities, universities and exchanges to sell cryptocurrencies they receive in donations or earn from trading fees to pay salaries, taxes and operating costs, starting in the second quarter of this year. By the second half of the year, about 3,500 listed companies and professional investment institutions will be piloting the opening of real-name accounts for crypto trading.
