#creativepower11 reminded me of something I read in a novel when I was a teenager. I don’t remember the exact words, but I remember the meaning because it touched me deeply. It was about stepping out of passive waiting and choosing a more active form of waiting. It’s much richer and more meaningful when we live while we wait. Living in “wait mode” for too long can be deeply degrading. How do you wait? What do you do when you have to wait for something to happen for a long time?

Many thanks! It is very interesting that I have this in mind since a young age. Sometimes it is hard to realize that we are waiting for things - a better salary, a better job, a nice trip, as if they would just come without action. It is a mix of expectation and waiting. Some times we say - “after xxx happens, I’ll do yyyy” - and condition things to waiting. It can be very frustrating. There are the obvious waiting moments as well… these are easier to deal with.
