Anyone here run their own mail server? Seems almost impossible to self host email these days.

If anyone has a working, easy solution I would love to hear it. I really would love to setup my own email server.

All I see are horror stories.

I've been running an iRedmail server for years. I think it's probably the easiest way to run your own mail server these days, but setup is still a lot of work. But I have never needed to touch it after the initial setup.

No, I haven't had any issues with my mail being marked as spam, or any issues with delivery. I followed iRedmail's step-by-step guide. 

Though I will say that I use the email server primarily for segregating different subscriptions and accounts with other services.

That's as opposed to using it for business and sending out large volume or high importance emails.

You never had issues with mail delivery or being marked as spam?
