What's stopping you from building dapps that users actually own - client-side, static, distributed through IPFS, not dependent on external third party services?

I'm a big fan of client side dapps through ENS+IPFS, but the best distribution method that I've found is still eth.limo. It's a great service, but still feels antithetical to the client side dapps ethos. I just want a dapp browser that lets me resolve ENS dapps and pin them locally.
