Picked up my metal Metamask card last night and going to test it out today buying coffee

feel like such a dorkass asking this but wouldn’t this be a huge pain in the ass for taxes if us based?

using eth where mm presumably swaps on backend obviously but even using stables counts as a taxable event afaik

You have to preload USDC (on Linea) onto the card

Basically, it works like a Cash App card or a Venmo card

I've been using the card with defi lending to get better interest rates than my bank offers me (by orders of magnitude) while spending stables. The yield is taxable but so is my savings account yield anyways. 🤷🏻‍♂️ we've also integrated cryptotaxcalculator
