throw away your greens powders and make greens cubes for your smoothies instead kale + spinach + swiss chard add a touch of water if the mix gets too thick (or add cucumbers) > cheaper > more nutrients (fresh >>>) > no additives or sweeteners (better taste) > can make your own mix > FIBRE i spent ~$7 and made 34 cubes (17 servings, about ~30g of greens total) you can really enhance the nutrient profile and benefits by adding any of the following: moringa powder, spirulina, fresh turmeric, fresh ginger, ground flax seeds, chia seeds, ashwagandha powder

going from greens powders -> “green cubes for your smoothies” feels like it’s…missing the obv logical option? fresh green smoothies? sorry i am not trolling i just have never been so confused this feels like an idea i’d think of while v stoned like wat kind of smoothie are u making to put these cubes in???

lmaooo i make a smoothie every day for breakfast so i try to be efficient AND healthy washing + prepping + blending the 3 leafy greens i always put in my smoothies then freezing into cubes means i don't have to take those 3 ingredients out and wash + prep them for every daily smoothie. plus it helps me reduce food waste since they don't go bad :) whole foods with fibre > processed powders my normal smoothie recipe: vanilla whey protein powder (also contains sweet potato and oat flour), moringa powder, 1 serving of greens, frozen berry mix, chia seeds, oat milk i end up getting 11 different fruits, vegetables, and seeds from this smoothie. you should aim to have 30-40 different ones in your diet each week for optimal gut microbiome health!
