I've been working in crypto since [checks notes] 2018 and I've never made any appreciable money because

1) I don't have the stomach for active trading (granted, this equally protects me from getting rekt) or the free capital to hodl at scale and

2) I'm always spending it on shit to support people's projects 😂

I've always held at least a few thousand worth of bitcoin but I've cashed out a few times to pay for unexpected expenses. in that sense it had my back! not always opportune moment to sell though
