Tori Amos is one of two live concerts I've been to, just her and a piano at a venue in Detroit (I believe Ford Auditorium but the '90s are sometimes fuzzy). You could hear a pin drop between pauses. No one wanted to interrupt her flow. This is an excellent interview. I admit not being the coolest of kids that her rendition that night of Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" is the first time I understood the lyrics to that damn song. 😁  I'm so glad the journalist in this piece asked her about the Neil Gaiman allegations and she answered the way she did. Whether it's carefully crafted by a PR team, I don't know, but some of her survivor fans needed her to address this.
