I too, was brought here on that promise...and it isn't moving the needle forward. Now, those who found success here just use it as leverage to get traditional funding or have simply moved on.

"Onchain" as a marketing term has also destroyed our understanding of why Web3 (read-write-own) was special in the first place.

Web3 was supposed to democratize art, not just create a new VIP section. Still waiting for the real shift.
