Thereās been more conflict on Farcaster this weekend than any in my recent memory (except maybe the invite floodgate??) šš©š¤·āāļø Do you think itās due to an increase in psychological safety, niceness fatigue, weāve reached enough scale to support legitimate factions, or something else?

I donāt think the conflict has been so much. For one, Iāll take the sparring over pushes for ākeeping it positiveā Toxic positivity is the worst. But I do think thereās a lot of preaching to the choir in here and I see casts that make me fairly certain we havenāt seen anything yet š¤£ popcorn dot gif

Should clarify I donāt ever want to live in toxic twitterland ever again. But I am cautious about those who regularly call for decorum because this generally works to silence marginalized people. I prefer to know who people are and where they stand rather than creating culture 180ād from toxic to toxic positivity.
