How do I migrate off of clouds while still enjoying my media? I am in the mood to do it all old school with my own manual backup Thinking about storing and viewing photos and music I can still enjoy without sharing data + notes, docs, spreadsheets etc I don’t need 90% of it and in the cloud and I’m sick of it all

My intuition is this is a lost cause and your best bet is more human friendly cloud practices but also I think it’s worth a try

i use nextcloud. it's still a cloud, but open source and not creepy
