First week of school, student council approved $5000 (ish) for their own new council chairs. I broke the story on the next broadcast which resulted in a scandal

It was in the thousands. I keep remembering $8k but BFF says it wasn’t that much. She might be downplaying or my memory is unreliable. It was an outlandish number worthy of my investigative reporting 😂
