I don’t think it’s controversial. I think it’s smart and many people on the left own guns, suggest owning and/or support carrying. 

My view is gun debates aren’t nearly as divisive as the loud mouths on social media would have people think. Most Americans are for reasonable gun laws. The left isn’t into abolishing guns any more the right supports packing heat at back-to-school night
