How do you set boundaries in a world that values constant availability? It feels like we’re expected to be “on” 24/7, whether it’s for work, social media, or messages from family. Finding ways to disconnect and make time for ourselves isn’t easy, but it’s more important than ever. Here’s a few things I do: - I only answer DMs once a day, no matter how many come in—otherwise, I’d be checking my messages constantly. - I also make a point to shut off my phone for a few hours each night to spend time with my wife. She gets grumpy if Warpcast gets all the time. Taking my face out of a screen for a bit always helps me recharge. (Although, I’ll admit—it’s been hard since the introduction or @clanker 😂) What about you? How do you set boundaries in our always connected world?

My phone has been on silent for over 2 years now, I look at it when I decide it's time. Every summer I go to a remote location and camp with friends for a week, I notify everyone before leaving that they will not be able to reach me. That week is amazing, how free I feel.. It's a very important time to reflect on my life, sometimes I use the aid of 🍄 to chop a sliver of my ego off to get in a space where I feel truly thankful for everything and realize how amazing it is to be alive. If I didn't have time to unplug like this I'm not sure what I would do, my mental health would really suffer.

This is a great idea. My phone is also always on silent but I look at it way too much sometimes. Trying to find healthier balance. That kind of summer sounds amazing. Very nostalgic.

Ah yeah I used to look at my phone quite often but learned to show more discipline and managed to cut that time down a lot. I give myself an allowance of time for everything I need to do in a day and I stick to it for the most part. Winter depression is coming though, hope I can stay on course.
