Another great example of why you shouldn't trust orgs that promise decentralization but don't deliver it. 

Nothing like building a community on an "open" platform, only to get rugged and not even be able to export your data, more less your social graph.

You either start decentralized, or you get led on until events like this happen. 
If one was inclined they can scrape their data from whatever visible tables there are. Hopefully someone spreads the word.
