Mirror got bought by paragraph and I just assume that means no more development and it'll eventually disappear, but I haven't seen them say for sure.

Well, mirror had some other features integrated, like the $write token and governance, or something like that So they actually do have subtly different features that I imagine will be amalgamated at some point

Yeah I guess I never have seen anyone do anything with mirror besides just minting articles, which nobody really does, so I think you're right that at best maybe there'll be some amalgamation, but I see no compelling reason to consider using mirror.

Yeah my thoughts exactly! I never was inspired to write on mirror, went with substack initially and then switched to paragraph. But tbh, I wish I could post on substack and use email distribution of paragraph @andrewzav.eth some thoughts for you!

I always thought of Mirror as web3’s version of Medium…give or take. And hoped that Mirror would complement and could co-exist with Paragraph. But I realise that’s a difficult task considering adoption isn’t like the web2 world.

Yeah it just needs more to stand out. Like you say, with adoption being what it is, they need something to really set it apart. Only so many writers who are willing to use something just because it's the "web3 version".
