ok so how do i make farcaster feel less like shouting into the void?

2016' class Etherean, The DAO survivor & terminally onchain degenerate regen.

It's a hard cold-start problem. 

What makes Farcaster feel alive for me is finding interesting ppl to follow and engaging them in replies to their casts.

Builds rapport that results in more engagement on my own casts when they are interesting as well.

following a decent number of people at this point i think, will find more through the specific-interest channels as well as make more conscious effort to engage with things that popup on my timeline

Yeah I think there's a tough hill to get over with getting ppl to engage. There's this slight PVP element to engagement here where ppl just need a little extra *nudge* to take that first step into a conversation. 

Not sure I entirely understand the hesitation yet.
