Beautifully written and timely sharing of personal experience in light of the current meta going around the gossip chains. "The real issue is centralized control, in any form" All the argument over this 'ism' or that 'ism' is pointless red herrings when the real battle we're all fighting is centralized control vs decentralized freedom. Every social experiment; feudalism, capitalism, socialism, communism- whatever flavor you want to pick out- is an example of narratives of 'empowerment' being captured by an elite class of decision-makers. We're watching the capture in real time right now for the 'empowerment' narrative of cryptography getting overtaken by a combination of the new blockchain-elite class that has sprung into power and the trad-world elites that are already absorbing the rest of the pie. This is why I believe in DAOs, not just cryptography. DAOs are as much about social change as they are about technical innovation. We have to learn how to coordinate without centralized authority!

Just doing what Iām passionate about because authoritarian regimes have hurt my family for multiple decades. My grandpa left Spain because of Franco.
