Since it's quiet today, here's a question I've been thinking about since dan posted about it...and then said Farcaster needs a @matthewb for every niche...

Top 1% of knowledge seems a bit elitist imo. Top 10% of knowledge is honestly pretty damn interesting for most niche topics. Even top 20% is pretty impressive. Setting the bar too high is also a deterrent. We don't need the smartest ppl here, just smart enough ppl willing to put in the time to make quality content.

Well said. I'd only add that we need smart enough people who are both willing *and able* (systemically speaking, not just individually) to put in the time to make quality content.

I'm definitely willing -- eager, even -- but it will probably take some systemic puzzle pieces clicking into place in the Farconomy to unlock the best of my abilities as a contributor.
