Enterprise blockchains --> really stupid 

Enterprise software on blockchains --> the future 

All organizations -- governments, non profits, companies, stores, superPACs, etc-- will benefit from:

1. Better governance 
2. "Can't be evil" 
3. Less intermediaries 
4. No lock-in to their banks or software that touches their assets

are DAOs "just" enterprise software on blockchains?

I guess, what's an enterprise?

By a literal definition, I'd say that's probably accurate.

The Kleomedes community decided to call themselves a "Decentralized Enterprise", although we still say DAO in some contexts, but I'm working to reduce it to only as a goal to achieve someday.

So a DAO is an onchain enterprise, but an onchain enterprise isn't by default a DAO.
