This is.... such a good idea. But they won't do it because they're counting on nostalgia and previous success to carry whatever lame remake they decide to green light.

I need a remake of the 1984 classic 'The neverending story' badly

I agree but would add that remakes of great but very old movies would be welcome too. There are so many westerns, noir flicks, etc from decades ago that no one remembers or are so dated as to be inaccessible but have great premises. Maybe some DAO should start buying up rights of Old Hollywood’s forgotten classics
