Mind if I ask why the camera’s there when there are built-in shortcuts?

I come from using Google flagship phones for over a decade. What’s the iOS equivalent of double tapping the power button to open the camera app?

Gotcha, totally fair. Just curious. Easiest: From the Lock Screen, swipe left. - Also from Lock Screen: long press the camera icon on the bottom right. - I also have it in the control center (pull down from top right)

Swipe left is new to me! I’ve primarily done the long press on the camera icon. The camera in the dock was put there to supplement that. But pull down from control center seems optimal since I don’t have to leave the current app to snap a photo. Thanks for these!!
