Ok so hear me out… even though colors have associated wavelengths - it’s entirely possible that what i understand as blue someone else experiences as (what I would call) orange because of the way the optical signal is read by our brain from our eyes Does that make sense or am i just insanely lost???

Being somewhat colorblind, I’ll say yes this is true. It doesn’t change what blue is, but it changes how we do or don’t see it. I literally don’t see some colors, so I can’t have the same experience.
