If they didn’t like a boss or a coworker, they jumped somewhere else and never looked back.” Of course this has been common in the tech markets for the last couple years & while I’ve seen it slow, I’m not sure what’ll happen long term. Last night I was talking with the dad of a collegiate athlete and he was saying the same about high school & college sports: there’s no loyalty, just short-term transactions. Curiously, he was saying that there are many college football players that make more money than many professionals. It will be interesting to see how this plays out over the next few years.
