Any affordable paddle recommendations? They all seem so expensive and undifferentiated. I’ve played a bit so want something decent. I’d rather not spend $100+ each (I’ll be buying a few), but want better than what’s at DSG/Walmart. I’ve been getting Friday paddles in my insta feed quite a bit.

My first nice paddle was the babolat rngd touch and I loved it. It’s on the thinner side (14 mm) but has a ton of control and you can still hit some power shots

Set your price range of pickleballcentral.com and order a few you’re interested in. I believe their trial period is a month, then you can send em back. I’m also hosting a swap-meet this weekend in Seattle, so I’m happy to keep an eye out for some good deals if you have a paddle in mind :)

I play with a Joola Hyperion and haven’t looked back despite the price. Joola’s have a 1 year warranty, so you can get a replacement after a year for free if it happens to be “breaking down” 😂

Oh yeah, they’re super nice people. When you’re ready to return just call and let them know. Then you just ship it off with your order info and you’ll be refunded in a few days.
