When I was in college in Colorado, some dude volunteered to mentor a few of us at church.

Recently, I got coffee with a new pastor at our current church. 

Turns out, this new pastor was mentored by this same guy that mentored me in college (they were on the east coast). In that same conversation, I learned that this mentor also (quietly) works closely with another long-time friend here in KC. 

This guy blessed me and gave me a remarkable example of leadership, and decades later he is still blessing me and my family through others. A faithful conduit for the grace of God through hearts and time and space. 

What a legacy.
