ummm i got toby some snow gaiters for xmas but i’m not sure it’s working? any ideas?

Honestly, these booties kinda ruin the fun for your dog. 
Back in the days I always had a big stack of towels next to the door.. So my dog could play and get wet and muddy but before she could enter the apartment I'd towel her of with special attention to her paws..  In the beginning she didn't like me touching her paws but she learned it was ok and eventually she learned to love the ritual... :)

it’s for when we go backcountry skiing or mountaineering - depending on conditions the terrain can take a toll on his paws (like wear them down, rip them, or otherwise cause them to bleed) or little snowballs can form in his fur and freeze which can be painful if we’re out there for a while 

we were testing them out in the house to get him used to them before we go out but we’re definitely not using them for just a romp around the neighborhood
