Idea: Ethereum Community Directory. A open curated database showcasing key individuals and entities within Ethereum ecosystem, displaying their project involvements (or EIPs authored), conference presentations, or sponsorship and bounty contributions at hackathons (and many more). WDYT?

@trent What do you think of the Protocol Guild equivalent for event organizers? https://warpcast.com/tree/0x641ac492

Might make less sense bc they are all producing different events that are typically not related to each other, at very different scales, with physics events in different cities

Thanks. You're right that the space is very cluttered and varied - but I still feel like there's a "core event" part that relates to the other's. At least in Europe I feel that events like ETHBerlin, ETHRome, ETHDam, ETHBarcelona, ETHBrno and others are actually very much aligned with each other.

@trent As organizator i see similar problems as protocol have - lack of incentives to create truly credible-neutral events. It's starting to become commercialized, where local events are starting to be replaced by big corporations like ETHGlobal who are only interested in promoting VCs stuff.
