Currently if you stake more DEGEN than is needed for a 10k allowance the excess allowance is still allocated to you. You are just not able to tip it so these DEGEN are lost.

A better way would be to distribute these excess $DEGEN to the stakers who have <10k allowances.

Since some over-stake Degen, part of the tip allowance pool becomes unavailable to everyone. Any ideas on a fair way to distribute those locked tip allowances to both over-stakers and other users? Someone staking a few million Degen should get some perks. We’d love to hear your thoughts!

There are lots of good people who were not early and dont have big pockets but are worthy of a decent allowance because they contribute a lot for the community

it's not even about being early.
It's about being degen wealthy.

By tip, by trade, by scam, by purchase, it doesn't really matter.
